Long Island, NY — The Coalition of Suffolk County Police Unions, which includes the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association today endorsed Dean Murray (R- East Patchogue) for state Senate.
“The Suffolk County PBA proudly endorses Dean Murray for the 3rd Senate District,” said Suffolk County PBA President Noel DiGerolamo. “Dean is a strong supporter of law enforcement and organized labor. While we are on the front lines protecting Long Islanders, we can count on Dean Murray to protect and fight for all of us in Albany. Dean is a champion for public safety, police and his constituents.”
“It is an honor to receive a major endorsement from local law enforcement members. Thousands of men and women in Suffolk County law enforcement put their lives on the line to keep our streets safe. There is no better way to thank them for their fine service, than to be their advocate in the legislature. I have been a champion for public safety issues, law enforcement and organized labor in the Assembly and I look forward to continuing that work in the Senate,” said Murray.
The Coalition of Suffolk County Police Unions includes the Suffolk PBA, the Suffolk Superior Officers, the Suffolk Detectives Association, the Suffolk Detectives Association, the Detectives Investigators PBA, the Suffolk Police Conference and Suffolk County Probation.
