GOP Candidate Running to Replace Senator Tom Croci Picks up Crucial Labor Endorsement
Assemblyman Dean Murray (R-C-I, 3rd District) today announced his campaign for State Senate has received the endorsement of the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA). Running to fill the seat left open by State Senator Tom Croci, Assemblyman Murray welcomes the endorsement of CSEA as a sign of growing momentum behind his campaign.
Assemblyman Murray said, “I am honored to accept the endorsement of CSEA. As State Senator, I promise to live up to this endorsement by fighting for the thousands of working families in my district, hundreds of thousands of CSEA members, and millions more on Long Island and across the state who want a voice in their government.”
In a letter announcing their endorsement of Assemblyman Murray, CSEA President Danny Donohue said, “We need elected officials who will fight for good jobs, good benefits, and strong communities. And we need elected officials who will never quit on the working men and women who make our state great. The CSEA is proud to endorse you because you hold these same values and have proven so time and time again. We are confident that you will be a strong partner with working men and women across this great state.”
The CSEA works on behalf of over 300,000 active and retired, public and private sector employees across New York State. From employees of state and local governments to private sector workers, CSEA and its members provide vital services to New Yorkers every day.
